Robbers disguise as cops,caters away with millions of dollars at Johannesburg Airport.

The BBC reports that the thieves drove into a restricted zone at OR Tambo Airport and seized containers of cash in different currencies.

The airport operators have issued a statement confirming the robbery, adding that no shots were fired during the operation by the criminals.

But other sources have said the robbery looked like a scripted operation because the thieves used special access passes to get into the airport.

It is also being reported that the robbers knew exactly which containers to take and were careful to get hold of small denomination notes, which are thought to be easier to pass on.
