Meanwhile; a pro-Ikwerre advocacy group wants religious bodies to support the Rivers State government by interfacing with repentant criminals who will be enlisted in the amnesty programme.
The spokesman for Ikwerre Accountability Network, ALEXANDER NSIRIM said through the engagement with religious bodies, the repentant cultists and kidnappers would be properly reintegrated into the society.
Also speaking; an ONELGA-based activist, NAPOLEON ADAH commended Governor NYESOM WIKE for setting up the Amnesty Programme Committee.

You will recall that at the inauguration of the Rivers Amnesty Programme Committee, Governor NYESOM WIKE gave members a mandate of sixty days to complete their assignment.
The Amnesty Programme Committee is headed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Amnesty, KENNETH CHINDA.
