Rivers State Security Chiefs Engage Community Leaders in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA

On Thursday, security chiefs in Rivers State continued their ongoing efforts to foster collaboration with community leaders, visiting Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni (ONELGA) Local Government Area on the directive of the Sole Administrator, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas.

Led by the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Olugbenga Adepoju, the security team urged community leaders to unite in the fight against crime, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to ensure peace and security.

CP Adepoju also directed the council administrator to formally request the establishment of additional police posts within the LGA, to bolster security measures.

Earlier, Chukwuma Ajie, the Administrator of ONELGA, highlighted that peace and adequate security are essential for the development of the area.

The traditional Prime Minister of Ogbaland, Eze Lewis Ajie, commented on the visit, stating that the presence of security chiefs serves as a stern warning to criminals operating within the LGA, signaling the government’s renewed commitment to maintaining law and order.
