Rivers State records 35 deaths from Covid-19 as Nigeria hit 22,020 cases

The death toll in Rivers state stands at 35 just behind Lagos and Kano states which have 126 and 50 deaths respectively.

No new case of the infection was recorded in Rivers state yesterday according to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control.

So far, 440 patients have recovered and discharged from the state isolation and treatment centers.

Meanwhile; Nigeria has recorded 649 fresh cases in the country bringing the total number of infections to 22,020.
