CP Mukan made the revelation while parading some suspects arrested in parts of the state for various crimes.
The commissioner said the command is not relenting in the fight against criminal activities in the state.
Responding to questions on the legality of members of local Vigilante bearing arms especially the OSPAC in various communities, the Commissioner of Police said members of the local Vigilante are permitted to bear arms that are not prohibited but urged them to surrender the ones that are forbidden or be ready to face the wrath of the law.
Among the suspects paraded are Chinedu Nwachukwu who allegedly killed a forty year old woman and stole a three months baby and Mary Ishmael, a 68 year old Woman who sold the baby at the tune of N350,000.
