The State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congres, BEATRICE ITUBO, said the setting up of the committee followed the meeting between the labour leaders and Governor NYESOM WIKE.
ITUBO told correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA that the various committees were given until March 31st to report back to the Governor with its findings.
The Labour Leader noted that the planned strike has been suspended but urged workers to remain at alert incase the outcome of the negotiations does not favor the workers.
She however expressed hope that negotiations would not end in a deadlock, adding that the Governor appeared committed to addressing all their issues.
The NLC Chairman noted that the issues being raised by the Labour Movement were mostly of finance.
