Rivers State-based Journalists and Friends against Disasters and Accidents International has called on the Federal Government to be proactive in tackling the outbreak of Lassa fever.The Founder of the group, RUSKIN AMADI is worried about the level of response by government at all levels, which he said was far from impressive.RUSKIN AMADI called for special funds to be set aside by the Federal, State and Local Governments to drive efforts to contain Lassa fever and manage reported cases.
