Benjamin Saruwaji and Peter who is the area commander of Bori command comprising Khana, Gokana, Tai and Eleme said they are being owed fifteen months salary.

The aggrieved members of the Neighborhood Safety Corps Agency also complained of not having operational vehicles to carry out the assignment given to them by the state government.

They called on Governor Nyesom Wike to urgently intervene and pay them their salaries to end their sufferings.

On his part, one of the Operational Managers of the Neighbourhood Watch, Mathew Iheanyi asked Governor Wike to tell them to either discontinue their services or pay them off.

Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that the protesters left the Government House as the governor was not around and proceeded to his residence at Ada-george in Mile Four Area of Obio-Akpor Local Government area, to try to get his attention.
