Osaro who is the Rivers State chairman of the Social Democratic Party was reacting to the recent visit to the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, led by the self-acclaimed IPAC state chairman, Chukwuemeka and chairmen of some political parties in the state, including the Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Tony Okocha.
The SDP chairman in an interview with Today FM’s Ifunanya Obeme-Ndukwe reiterated that he was duly appointed the state chairman of IPAC by the national after the executives led by former PDP chairman, Ambassador Desmond Akawor was dissolved in 2023.
Osaro called for the resignation of Chukwuemeka as the state chairman of PDP for misleading the public.
Today FM had in 2023 sighted a letter from the national leadership of IPAC, confirming him as the new chairman of IPAC in the state, and the dissolution of the Akawor-led executives.
