Governor Fubara, who spoke during the official inauguration of the Rivers Zero Crime Initiative in Port Harcourt, urged Rivers people to make the police initiative a business of their own if it must succeed.
The governor who was represented by his Deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu encouraged the people to get involved in the policy of the state Police Command of, “see something and say something”, which she said would go a long way in assisting the security agencies in the fight for a better society.
Earlier in his address, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Nwonyi Emeka maintained that everybody is a stakeholder in ensuing the state is liberated of crime and criminality.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that stakeholders from other security agencies, groups, organizations, and different sectors, were represented at the event to make valid contributions.
