Residents of Eneka Community of Rivers State decry bad Roads in the Area

The Eneka residents who complained of being shut out from the city of Port Harcourt because of the abandonment of Rumu-Olukwu-Eneka new layout said economic activities have been grounded in the area.

Some tricycle drivers who spoke to our correspondent said life has not been easy with members of their families because of the condition of the road.

Other residents including Pastor EKELE MORGAU, NAPOLEON DEDE and KELVIN NWOSU who are members of landlord Association said they have abandoned their building and relocated to other areas because of the condition of the road.

They called on Governor NYESOM WIKE to help fix the road which they claimed was part of the governor’s campaign promises to the people.

Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR who visited the site reports that a section of the road has been converted to a refuse dump site by residents due to its impassable nature.
