Speaking during an interactive session with members of the Rivers State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, IYAYE disclosed that alternative training facilities at the old civic center would be made available for athletes while renovation work is going on.
BOMA IYAYE confirmed that the state government had concluded arrangements for the award of the renovation contract in a bid to revitalize the sporting edifice.
