The ceremony features hundreds of thousands of Thais lining the streets of Bangkok to pay their last respects to the late king.
The procession is the main part of a five-day funeral ceremony which is marked by drums, flute music and an artillery salute.
Many buildings are draped in yellow marigolds, while crowds of mourners are dressed in black as a mark of respect for the late revered king BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ who died in October 2016 at the age of eighty-eight.
