The National President of Primary Healthcare Workers Association of Nigeria, Daniel Atieme, who made the commendation in Port Harcourt, also hailed the Primary Healthcare Management Board for the exercise, in accordance with the directive of the state government.
Atieme, however, expressed displeasure over activities of some licensed agents within the primary healthcare who extort money from their colleagues, whom he said have suffered untold hardship without promotion for years.
The Primary Healthcare boss, who further urged relevant stakeholders and all the Local Government chairmen to properly carryout the promotion exercise to allay some of their agitation for workers welfare, also commended the leadership of all sister associations who joined in the fight for the welfare of workers.
