Primary Health care workers appeal to Rivers state Government for more sensitization on monkey pox

The President of the Primary Healthcare Workers Association of Nigeria, Daniel Atieme said the awareness level of the disease in the state is low.

Atieme who spoke in an interview with Today FM’s Chinedu Iwunna called for the mobilization of staff of state Primary Health care management board to take the sensitization about the disease to rural areas.

Daniel Atieme also announced that the health workers may proceed on an industrial action if the state government continues to ignore their demands about their welfare.
