Madubuike who spoke from witness box told the Panel that her late son was on his way back from Nekede Federal Polytechnic, Imo State sometimes in December, 2016 where he went to pay N150,000 for his school clearance when he was arrested around Oyigbo by police officers and tortured to death.
Madubuike who was physically devastated over the ugly incident insisted that her only son was not involved in any criminal activities as alleged by the police before his untimely death just as she demanded for N20m compensation from the police authority.
Meanwhile, a clergy who gave his name as Apostle Simon Amaha demanded justice for the murder of his Elder brother John Amaha by SARS operatives on 4th March, 2018, at the Evo axis GRA Port Harcourt, while carrying out his duty.
Apostle Amaha explained that his late Brother, who is known for his humanitarian service of controlling traffic around Evo Axis of GRA was shot dead by a SARS Officer in annoyance that he was delaying them, while trying to decongest traffic.
Correspondent Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that another petitioner by name Kotienbo Herbert who also appeared before the commission accused the IGP monitoring team Borokiri Division of killing his son Herbert ThankGod and his cousin Nelson Ajumogobis, after he paid N200,000 out of the N500,000 demanded for their bail.
Herbert who demanded for release of their corpses and N100m compensation to be paid, explained that the operatives of the IGP monitoring team arrested the two at Iwofe-Rumuolumeni area and tagged them kidnappers, when they went to demand for debt.
