Falana made the call in a statement yesterday.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria recalled that in compliance with court judgments, Senators Daniel and Dankwambo have requested the governors of Ogun and Gombe States, to stop paying them the pension.
Falana commended the Senator, saying that their action is highly commendable at a time when not less than twenty former governors in the executive and legislative branches of government are receiving double salaries.
He said a landmark judgment delivered on November 26 2019 by Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo (now retired) declared the payment of the pension illegal and unconstitutional.
