The new Commander of Operation Delta Safe JTF takes over from Rear Admiral JOSEPH OSA OKOJIE.
Before moving to the new posting, Rear Admiral SULEIMAN was the Director of Development at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
He had also served as the Flag Officer Commanding the Central Naval Command.
A statement released by Colonel KINGSLEY UMOH for Acting Director of Defence Information noted that the change was made in order to inject new capability to contain the prevailing security threats and enhance stability in the Niger Delta region.
