Chairman of the House Committee on Environment, JOHNSON OGBUMA during a visit with his members to Tai and Khana Local Government Area of Rivers state said a holistic report will be submitted by his committee to the house on their fact finding visit.
OGBUMA decried the slow pace of work by some of the contractors handling different lots in the project and called for an improvement to meet up with global best practices.
On his part, HYPREP Project Coordinator, MARVIL DEKIL explained that the Centre of Excellence will be built after the first phase of the project.
DEKIL also assured the committee that water will be provided for the people before the next three months.
Our correspondent PREYE IZOGU reports that the committee had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Ogoni Council of Traditional Ruler King GODWIN GININWA.
