Prince FORTUNE OBUMGBADA was ambushed by kidnappers on his way from church in the company of his family members, including his wife who was hit by the kidnappers’ bullet.
The Chairman of Rumualogu Community Development Committee, GIFT NWARU told our correspondent that the kidnappers of Prince OBUMGBADA are yet to make contact with the family.
GIFT NWARU therefore called for the support of the State Government to boost security for inhabitants of Rumualogu, just as he called for the unconditional release of Prince OBUMGBADA.
The Rumualogu CDC Chairman also used the opportunity to appeal to the River State Government to reconsider the ban on community vigilante groups.
GIFT NWARU said Rumualogu community leaders were willing to partner with the state government and security agencies to check criminality in the area.
