This comes three weeks after the NUT threatened to call out its members for an industrial action over the delay by the Rivers State Government to pay their monthly entitlements.
However; our correspondent gathered that only teachers who have been successfully captured in the ongoing biometric verification exercise are being paid their salaries.
The State Chairman of the NUT, LUCKY NKPONGENE confirmed the development in an interview with our correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA.
But NKPONGENE said some teachers are still being owed their salaries for the months of February and March.
The NUT leader said the reason is because of errors by the Primary and Secondary School Boards.
