National Deputy President of NUPENG, Bassey Harry during a peaceful protest in Port Harcourt gave a three day ultimatum to stakeholders in Rivers state to intervene and meet the demands of the union who are protesting the lay-off of some of their members.
Also speaking, NUPENG’s Head of Administration in Port Harcourt, China Ejims described the sack of their members as an act of slavery, adding that the affected staff members of the oil servicing firm were yet to be paid their remuneration.
