Bulgarian First League side Botev Plovdiv have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Chidera Michael Okoh from Greek club Asteras Aktor ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 23-year-old joins the Bulgarian club after a two-year spell with Asteras Aktor, where he featured for both the senior team and the reserve side.
Botev Plovdiv confirmed that Okoh will wear the number nine jersey and becomes the club’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
The former Divine Praise forward, who has also played for Czech club Slovan Liberec and Maltese side Mosta, will team up with fellow Nigerians Samuel Kalu, Chimezie Williams, Ifenna Dorgu and Bryan Hein at the club.
The striker is expected to strengthen Botev Plovdiv’s attack as the club prepares for the new Bulgarian First League season.
