Nigerian Troops are reported to have destroyed a Boko Haram camp at Matali in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State. The Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SANI USMAN said in a statement that troops also repelled an attack on Mada. Colonel USMAN said the feats were recorded by advancing troops of 154 Task Force Battalion of the 29 Task Force Brigade of the Nigerian Army. The Army spokesman said during the operation, some terrorists were killed, while some weapons and Improvised Explosive-making Devices were recovered.
