Covid-19: Parents advice government on reopening of schools

Parents and guardians have advised the government to first set up structures that will aid screening of school pupils before re-opening of schools.

The parents expressed this opinion in reaction to the approval of safe re-opening of schools by the Federal government.

 

The respondent who spoke with our correspondent Sandra Kenneth said it is not enough to decontaminate and open schools but advised that every school should be mandated to have testing kits which should be done daily on students before granting them access into the school premises.

 

They however stated that families will be at risk of getting infected by their children if necessary kits are not put in place.
