Residents doctors suspend planned strike

The National Association of Resident Doctors has suspended its nationwide strike.

The doctors had embarked on the strike over nonpayment of Hazard Allowance by the government and lack of Personal Protective Equipment.


NARD President, Aliyu Sokomba said the National Executive Council decided to suspend the strike in order to give the Federal and State Governments time to fulfil the outstanding demands of the association.
