Local governments in Rivers State asked to cooperate with state's Covid-19 fight

Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Tony Philmore has called on residents of the area to cooperate with Government’s effort in the fight against Covid-19.

Philmore made the call while commending the State Governor-elect Nyesom Wike on his initiative to decontaminate Degema Local Government Area against Covid-19.


The Degema Council boss said the action of the Governor further buttress him as a leader with his people’s welfare at heart.


Philmore further explained other measures he has taken to ensure that communities in Degema LGA are safe from the pandemic.
