Niger-Delta activist, Ankio Briggs  has lamented the gravity of corruption the Niger-Delta Development Commission is immersed in amidst the ongoing auditing by the Interim Management Committee.

Briggs while reacting to latest developments in the NDDC said the interference of politicians in the affairs of the commission has led to its poor management.

She added that it was wrong for different administrations of government to have converted the NDDC to a cash cow where everyone grabs public funds without prosecution.

The NDDC has been immersed in a controversy with the Interim Management Committee led by Professor Pondei accusing the National Assembly of unduly interfering with the development of the Niger-Delta because of their alleged corrupt practices in the NDDC.
