Police takes over rape case of 14-year-old boy in Port Harcourt

The Olu-Obasanjo Police Division in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of the Rivers State has taken over the alleged rape case of a 14 year old boy in Oroworukwu Community.

The suspect identified as, Asuzu Chidi who hail from Anambra State was handed over to the police by the leadership of Oroworukwu Community after a directive by the Rivers State Police Command.


Our Correspondent who is following up the matter sighted the suspect at the Olu-Obasanjo Police Division giving his statement after being handed over by the community for proper investigation.


Mother of the 14 year old boy who spoke to our correspondent at the police station expressed concern over the incident and called for justice in the matter.


TODAY FM brought you this report on Wednesday after the Civil Rights Council in Rivers State raised the alarm of a thirty-eight year old man suspected to be homosexual lured his victim into the act with biscuits and soft drink and was reportedly caught having carnal knowledge of the 14 year old boy at a dark corner in Oroworukwo Community.
