The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, IBRAHIM LAMORDE, has been sacked. LAMORDE had been on his fourth year in charge of affairs of the EFCC, and is replaced by IBRAHIM MAGU who is of the rank of an Assistance Commissioner of Police. Reports say LAMORDE was at the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a meeting with President MUHAMMADU BUHARI before his removal was announced.
