NLC awaits signing of new minimum wage in Rivers State

The organized Labour in Rivers state says it is still awaiting a call from the state government for the signing of the minimum wage agreement.

The Rivers state council chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, BEATRICE ITUBO stated this interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt. 

The agreement was expected to be signed on Monday but the Labour leader said there were few grey areas to be ironed out before the signing would be done. 

The NLC Chairman also assured that the arrears accruable to workers following the delay in the commencement of the new wage were part of the negotiation.
