The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, DAKUKU PETERSIDE has described the utterances by Rivers state Governor NYESOM WIKE to Traditional Rulers as demeaning.

PETERSIDE made the called in reaction to the manner which he said the Governor spoke to traditional rulers in the state during their quarterly meeting in Port Harcourt.

The NIMASA D.G alleged that Governor WIKE was seen lambasting the traditional rulers and threatening to withdraw recognition from them over what he said were flimsy reasons.

PETERSIDE stated that the utterances of Governor WIKE represent an all-time low in the history of the state.

In a statement issued by his media team, PETERSIDE also recalled the recent threat by the Governor to withdraw government recognition from the Amanyanabo of Kalabari, King THEOPHILUS PRINCEWILL.

The statement called on Rivers people to call the Governor to order while accusing him of turning himself into a feudal lord.
