President Buhari returns from Egypt after ASWAN forum
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has returned to Abuja after a trip to Egypt after attending the Aswan Forum on Peace and Development in Africa.
President BUHARI was part of the event that held from December 11 to December 12 in Aswan where he said for Africa to progress, the continent must prevent and resolve the conflicts slowing it down.
The aim of the forum was to address the interconnections between peace and development in Africa while promoting Africa-led solutions through strengthening policies and practices.
Egyptian President, ABDEL FATTAH EL-SISI, launched the initiative in his capacity as the Chairman of the African Union.
