Ikwere Youth movement condemn attack on Amaechi in Spain

The Ikwerre Youths Movement International has condemned the physical assault and attack on the Minister for Transportation CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI in Madrid, Spain.

IYM in a statement issued by its president General AZUBUIKE WANJOKU and its director of publicity DIKE BEKWELE said Ikwerre youths has warned of dire consequences if further attack is unleashed on the minister of Transportation or any other Ikwerre person

IYM said that it can no longer fold its arm and watch those it described as misguided Nigerians outside the shores of the country attack their leaders and kinsmen on National assignment or in pursuit of their business interest abroad.

IYM commended the intervention of the Spanish police and the Nigerian mission in Spain for nipping the crisis in the bud.

It however added that some Nigerians cannot continue to instill fears in the minds of public office holders who intend to travel abroad.

In the meantime; the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has warned the members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra against what it described as despicable behaviour with regards to the attack on the Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI.

On his part, the former Chairman of the forum of APC Chairmen, GIFT IGOMA-LOVEDAY warned that Rivers people will not tolerate further attacks on their sons or daughters just as he cautioned against actions that are capable of causing anarchy.
