President Buhari reacts to the death of 13 french soldiers in Mali

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has expressed shock and sadness over the death of thirteen French soldiers in Mali after a helicopter accident during an operation against terrorists in the country.

Reacting to the incident, President BUHARI noted that the incident is of significance to Nigeria because France is a major international partner in the war against terrorism.

The President in a statement by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, GARBA SHEHI said terrorism is a global problem that demands international cooperation, and he praises the efforts of the French government in assisting Nigeria in confronting the monster.

President BUHARI therefore, called on the French government not to allow the unfortunate incident to dampen their enthusiasm in terms of their active support towards fighting terrorism in Africa.
