The Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore DELE ALONGE confirmed in a statement that Boko Haram vehicle workshops, as well as fuel and ammunition dumps were destroyed in recent operations in Sambisa Forest.

The Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore DELE ALONGE confirmed in a statement that Boko Haram vehicle workshops, as well as fuel and ammunition dumps were destroyed in recent operations in Sambisa Forest. ALONGE said the feat by the Nigerian Air Force Alpha jets was recorded following a renewed drive to further degrade the Islamist terrorist group. He said the attacks by the Nigerian Air Force came as a result of a painstaking Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance efforts by the NAF’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms.
Following the development, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal SADIQUE ABUBAKAR has assured that the capabilities of the insurgents have been further degraded to pave the way for the final onslaught by ground forces to meet the December deadline set by President MOHAMMADU BUHARI.
