TYPHOON TRAMI STRIKES JAPAN

This report says Typhoon Trami has struck western Japan, killing two people and at least one hundred and twenty others injured. 

 

The powerful typhoon made landfall on Sunday near the western city of Osaka, with gusts of up to two hundred and sixteen kilometers per hour.

 

The storm caused widespread disruption, with many flights and trains cancelled, while more than seven hundred and fifty homes lost power.

 

In the meantime; eight hundred and forty-four people who died in the twin disaster of earthquake and tsunami in the Indonesian city of Palu have been given mass burial.
