Stakeholders in Rivers State have continued to speak against criminal activities perpetrated by the Indigenous People of Biafra against Hausa community in the state.
Reacting to the development, the Rivers South East Senator Elect, Chief ANDREW UCHENDU said it was wrong for the IPOB members to be violent in their course.
Senator UCHENDU in a statement issued in Port Harcourt, condemned the latest attack on some law-abiding residents of Oyigbo especially the Hausa Community which resulted to the killing of two police officers and prosperities destroyed.
He pledged that Rivers State will never be part of their dream Biafra Republic warning that the IPOB moves to expressing their desire, must restrict themselves to the confines of the South-East Zone and the Nigerian Constitution.
On his part, the former chairman of Abua Odual Local Government Area, GIFT LOVEDAY IGOMA criticized the Governor of Rivers state, NYESOM WIKE over his silence on the activities of members of IPOB in the state.
However, Spokesman of the PDP, SAMUEL WANOSIKE said Governor NYESOM WIKE has provided the needed support for all the security agencies to fight any insurrection in Rivers state.
