Eliozu Killing: Ifeanyi Dike remanded in Prison.

Alleged ritual killer, IFEANYICHUKWU MAXWELL DIKE has been remanded in Port Harcourt prison.

The two hundred level student of the University of Port Harcourt was arraigned before a Magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt on a one count charge of murder of an eight year old CHIKAMSO MEZUWUBA.

 

Our correspondent reports that Chief Magistrate, AMADI-NNA declined jurisdiction to hear the matter and ordered that the case filed be referred to the Director of Public Prosecution for advice.

 

Chief Magistrate, A.O AMADI-NNA thereafter adjourned the matter indefinitely.

 

Speaking outside the court, counsel to the accused, LEZINA AMEGUA said he was in court to ensure that justice is done in the matter.

 

On her part, the Chairperson of the International Federation of Female Lawyers ANTONIA OSADEME said FIDA is involved in the matter to ensure that all those who participated in the killing of the girl face the Law.

 

 

Correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the suspected ritual killer, IFEANYICHUKWU MAXWELL DIKE was arraigned amidst tight security presence in court.
