Nigerians Army may be heading for a serious confrontation with indigenes of Elele Town in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State over a clash that led to the death of one TONY ENYINDAH in the area.

Our correspondent gathered that one other person identified as DANIEL also sustained bullet wounds during the clash which happened on Sunday.

Trouble started when DANIEL who is said to be receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital and the late ENYINDAH who was a trader was stopped by the military at check point within the area.

An argument was said to have ensued afterward, leading to the death of ENYINDAH.

Some youths in the community was said to have been angered by the death of their kinsman and had marched to the check point to set it on fire.

The elder brother of the deceased who confirmed the incident to our correspondent said the matter has been reported to the six division of Nigeria Army in Port Harcourt.

When contacted the spokesman of the Six Divisions of Nigeria, Colonel AMINU LIYASU referred our correspondent to the Navy Pathfinder who he said has a check point within the axis.
