The group of Niger Delta agitators behind the quit notice to people from the North and South-Western parts of Nigeria has rescinded its threat.

The group also withdrew its threat to resume attacks on oil installations within the Niger Delta as well as its demand for Niger Delta Republic.

Self-styled General JOHN DUKU, who is the leader of the coalition of agitators, further disclosed in a statement that they have reconciled their differences with the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF.

However; General DUKU maintained their demand for the removal of the current Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, MAIKANTI BARU.

He said they decided to shift grounds following the intervention of PANDEF and the Nigeria Ethnic Nationality Youth Leaders Forum.
