Imo priest killing: Former Police Corporal ,5 others arrested.
A former police corporal has been arrested alongside five others on suspicion of killing a Catholic priest in Imo State.
The prime suspect, JUDE MADU, as well as IZUCHUKWU OKAFOR, ONYEMA CYRIL, EMMANUEL OZUIGBO, VICTOR IKECHUKWU IROKANSI, and IFECHUKWU NWOSU, were paraded before newsmen by the Commissioner of Police, CHRIS EZIKE.
The suspects are alleged to have abducted Reverend Father CYRIACUS ONUNKWO around Banana Junction at Amaifeke, in Orlu Local Government Area last Friday, before his body was found the next day in a bush at Omuma, in Oru East Local Government Area.
The Police Commissioner said the suspects were detected through forensic technology, while the prime suspect was also found in possession of the mobile phone of the deceased clergyman.
