Authorities in Senegal have expelled a controversial French-Beninese activist KEMI SEBA due to alleged threat to public order.

Radio France International the Senegalese government is not comfortable with SEBA’s presence in the country because of his campaign against the use of CFA franc in several West and Central African countries.

 

 

SEBA had in a show of his rejection of the currency burned a five thousand CFA franc note in public last month, for which he was charged but later acquitted by a court in the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
