Kenya presidential election rubles:Electoral body invites two contending Political Parties.

Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission has called a meeting with the two main political parties ahead of the repeat presidential election ordered by the Supreme Court.

The crisis meeting was called after the governing Jubilee Party and the NASA opposition alliance rejected a new team appointed by the IEBC Chairman to oversee the re-run.

 

The main opposition leader, RAILA ODINGA had made a list of demands bothering on legal and constitutional guarantees in order to take part in the repeat election on 17th October, while the governing Jubilee is concerned about the makeup of the electoral commission.
