The APC has denied the accusation that it was behind the police invitation of Deputy Senate President, IKE EKWEREMADU.
The position of the APC is contained in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, LAI MOHAMMED, in which the party claims it was not aware of the invitation of Senator EKWEREMADU.

The position of the APC is contained in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, LAI MOHAMMED, in which the party claims it was not aware of the invitation of Senator EKWEREMADU.
The APC described the statement released by the PDP as outlandish, with all sorts of imaginary claims.
The party however described the alleged alteration of the Senate Standing Rule of the election of principal officers as a clear case of forgery which the police have a duty to investigate.
