Meanwhile; the withdrawal of the Second Class Chieftaincy Certificate of Eze EJIKE WALI of Mgbesilaru community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area has continued to generate reactions.
JOSEPH ELLEH who is the lawyer representing Eze EJIKE WALI, said his client was already in court to challenge the power of the Rivers State Government to remove any traditional ruler.
ELLEH, who spoke with newsmen in Port Harcourt, argued that the withdrawal of the Certificate of Recognition of Eze WALI by the state government was illegal, adding that he was not given fair hearing.
The Lawyer accused the Rivers State Government of violating the rule of law since it was party in a pending court matter over the disputed stool.
