Members of the Medical and Health Workers Union in Rivers State have failed to embark on a proposed strike following the sack of the Accountant-General of Rivers State, NGOZI ABU. The leader of the aborted protest, REUBEN WECHEONWU however thanked the civil servants for coming out for the planned protest.

Members of the Medical and Health Workers Union in Rivers State have failed to embark on a proposed strike following the sack of the Accountant-General of Rivers State, NGOZI ABU. The leader of the aborted protest, REUBEN WECHEONWU however thanked the civil servants for coming out for the planned protest.He said the aim of the suspended demonstration had been achieved with the removal of NGOZI ABU as Accountant General. REUBEN WECHEONWU is the leader of the Medical and Health Workers Union in Rivers State.
