The Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice DAISY OKOCHA has charged judiciary staff in the state to maintain their job ethics.  

Justice OKACHA warned that there was no room for corruption in the state judiciary under her administration.

The Acting Chief Judge made the call while declaring open a two-day workshop for judges, magistrates and court staff drawn from the Rivers State judiciary. Justice DAISY OKOCHA said the workshop was organised in line with the mandate of the National Judicial Institute to maintain high standard of adjudication and administration of justice in Nigeria.  

In his remarks, the Director of the National Judicial Institute, O.C AJA commended the leadership of the Rivers State judiciary, stressing that the workshop was especially useful because of the recent crisis in the sector that led to the closure of courts for over a year.

Correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA reports that the two-day workshop was divided into three segments for Judges, Magistrates and Court Staff, with resource persons from Lagos and Abuja. The Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice DAISY OKOCHA has charged judiciary staff in the state to maintain their job ethics.  

Justice OKACHA warned that there was no room for corruption in the state judiciary under her administration.
