Leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers South East Senatorial District are mobilizing supporters of the party in the zone ahead of the tasks ahead.

Addressing a gathering of APC members in Bori; the headquarters of Khana Local Government Area, State Chairman of the party, DAVIES IBIAMU IKANYA expressed the hope that the elections in Rivers State would be canceled by the tribunals sitting in Abuja.

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers South East Senatorial District are mobilizing supporters of the party in the zone ahead of the tasks ahead.

Addressing a gathering of APC members in Bori; the headquarters of Khana Local Government Area, State Chairman of the party, DAVIES IBIAMU IKANYA expressed the hope that the elections in Rivers State would be canceled by the tribunals sitting in Abuja. IKANYA urged members of the APC to prepare for another round of elections in the event that the election petition tribunals rule in favor of petitions filed by APC candidates. The APC Governorship candidate for the election April 11th, DAKUKU PETERSIDE was also present at the meeting during which he assured that the party was making progress at the tribunals in Abuja. On his part, the APC Senatorial candidate for Rivers South-East, Senator MAGNUS ABE stressed the need for members of the party to work as one indivisible unit. Correspondent CHINEDU IWUNNA reports that the Rivers South East APC members passed a vote of confidence on former governor, ROTIMI CHIBUIKE AMAECHI as leader of the party in Rivers State.
