Six suspects have been arrested over the murder of four soldiers and a policeman by suspected sea pirates in Bayelsa State last week Friday.

A report quoting the Nigerian military said soldiers also recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a raid on criminal camps in neighboring Rivers State.

A report quoting the Nigerian military said soldiers also recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a raid on criminal camps in neighboring Rivers State.Other recovered items include three speed boats, communication gadgets and generators. The report further said soldiers attached to the Joint Task Force are now trying to track down other suspects who escaped from the camp. However; the real identity of those who carried out the attack is still a mystery, as most of the militants who embraced the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme of the Federal Government, later turned to sea piracy and oil theft.
